Artist's Description
The birth of this image began years ago with the reading of Grey is the Color of Hope. Over the years, the concept I carried in my head began to take on multiple meanings and developed into a type of mantra. Today, what has ended up on canvas, is decades of contemplation. The female body is both strong and vulnerable, beautiful and painful.
About Denise Deiloh
I just realized I'd had a biography up here for... ever. I'm working to update everything. If you super duper need to know about me, I have purple hair and an attitude. But I'm totally nice.

Thank you Micael and Monte. I'm planning on doing a set based on this painting because it is so popular. I'm in the sketch and thumbnail phase... so we'll see. =)

Not only do I love this piece, I have been working on one of a similar theme (don't worry, not stealing this one ;) This is really an excellent execution on your concept...voting it up.

Great statement....why a safe filter ?
Denise Deiloh replied:
I'm not sure how strict FAA is on nudity. I think I can probably remove the restrictions on the few images I have it on, thought I'd be safe to begin with.
