While passing time and viewing images, I came across a photograph of a young nude woman. Her eyes caught me and bore into my thoughts. I did a fast sketch before heading back to life's routine. Winter is a painting I carried around with me for several months before the first brush strokes were attempted. The ice strands, leaves, and decor have to do with starting the painting on a cold January morning. I haven't been able to find the photo since.
