Description
Growing up, when grandma needed her grandchildren (there were dozens of us) to get out of the house, one of the things she would do is send us blackberry picking. After hours of picking, we would return to her with purple-stained fingers and lips, and whatever we didn't gobble down was usually enough blackberries to go on grandpa's dessert. To this day, when I see a wild blackberry plant, I smile. And of course, I take a sampling.
